College Care Packages Ahh

College Care Packages with Love When I was a teenager my parents would send me off to camp for the summer. The one thing I looked forward to more than letters from friends was a care package from my parents. Some girls got a care package each week packed with junk food, random crap that would make us laugh, and pictures. Even though I did not receive a package each week like some of the luckier campers, I treasured the packages I got more because they were more unexpected and much better created. Since my mother owns a gift basket company, my care packages were never carelessly tossed into a cardboard box, but instead were presented in a decorative basket wrapped in bows. Not only was the presentation incomparable, but my mom’s company has access to products which you can’t buy off the shelves in your local super store. My packages were always packed with gourmet food such as fresh fruit, exceptional chocolate bars, various snack mixes, tea and hot chocolate, and one of a kind cookies and candies. I would always share my baskets with my friends and for years after, my camp friends would ask me where my mom had found specific delicacies that they had only ever found in the contents of my camp care packages. Two months ago I moved out east for school after twenty one years of living in the same state as my parents. Although real homesickness hasn’t set in yet, it has been hard being apart from my friends and family and there are days which are harder than others. A few weeks ago I got a surprise package. I tore the box open to find a gift basket much like the ones my mom used to send me at camp. It contained ‘energy’ jelly beans, fruit and nut mix, gourmet chocolate bars and cookies, some of the best granola bars I’ve ever had in my life, and my bike bell which I had left behind at my parents’ house. inspiration gift basketsIt was the most welcome taste of home I could have hoped for and it reminded me that no matter how far from home you are, your family is always there to take care of you. It was the most wonderful surprise I’ve gotten in a while and it reminded me that my family is proud of my accomplishments and goals. Valentine's Beer to Say Be Mine

Everyone knows that Valentine’s Day is the time to communicate your love to your boyfriend. The problem is that it can be certainly very difficult for you women to figure out what to give to your guy. You could always get something hot for yourself and use this as your present to him, but for some lovers this just won’t work. jewelry is the customary gift, but seriously, women like these presents more than your guy does. You could buy him an a new bike, but then you might not hear a word from him for the next two weeks. So, with that in mind what are your other options? Let beer be the answer! I’m fairly confident he will think it’s a awesome gift. Now, don’t just go purchase a six-pack of any normal beer and present it to him in a brown paper bag; only other guys can be so not groovy.

Instead, start up your computer and search for basketsbyrita.com and order a Valentine beer tub to be shipped to his work. This will cost a bit more than that stand alone beer, but it will be SO worth it. Imagine his great surprise when the courier arrives (or FedEx package) with a Valentines beer tubBeer gift for Valentines day full of awesome micro brews and awesome tasting food items. Make sure to have the gift card says something like “I thought you’d love this almost as much as me. See you tonight! Love.” The work group will be jealous over this present. The women will all be saying “oh, how nice” and the guys will be thinking about what uncool thing their girl friend bought them. You can be sure the guys will be thinking “she really know how to buy the right gift!” We can even put a couple extra chocolates in the tub that he can share with you. If he’s really a very nice guy, he’ll share the beer with you. You won't make him feel bad if he doesn't right?
