There is a lot of controversial history surrounding Easter and you can find many definition of what it means to celebrate the holiday. If you search traditions around the world, you can get a glimpse of how the celebration has evolved in different cultures. The reason that Easter is not on the same date every year… In the year 325 AD astronomers approximated the dates of all the full moons in the year for the Western Christian churches. These were called the Ecclesiastical Full Moon dates, and they have been used ever since 326 AD to determine the date of Easter which falls somewhere between March 21 to April 18. Another mystery to ponder is why the Easter Bunny seems to lay eggs!
