Why isn't Easter on the same day every year?

Easter Baskets are a big part of Western Christian Easter celebrations everywhere. Even non Christians love Easter or at least the kids do. Our Easter Basket for children boy’s and Easter Basket for children girl’s are very popular gifts to send to your grandchildren. We offer customizing so you can add items that you know they like and so it is age appropriate. Filled Easter baskets are so much a part of the celebration for children. When you want to send something for everyone our Family Easter Baskets are very popular.

Our Easter Basket section has a great selection especially if you are not going to be with your families. There is a lot of controversial history surrounding Easter and you can find many definition of what it means to celebrate the holiday. If you search traditions around the world, you can get a glimpse of how the celebration has evolved in different cultures. The reason that Easter is not on the same date every year… In the year 325 AD astronomers approximated the dates of all the full moons in the year for the Western Christian churches. These were called the Ecclesiastical Full Moon dates, and they have been used ever since 326 AD to determine the date of Easter which falls somewhere between March 21 to April 18. Another mystery to ponder is why the Easter Bunny seems to lay eggs!

Finally, it wouldn’t be Easter without fun and games! You offer an assortment of fun toys and games in our Filled Easter Baskets. If you are far away this is a great way to add to the fun of the day. They will surely call you and fill you in on all that you are missing.

If you are like most of us these days there are just to few hours in the day. That is where Baskets by Rita can save the day. We offer convenient service at a great price too.
