Champagne Celebration For Chirstmas

As a true Coloradoan, I have had my share of white Christmases. I often pity people who have never experienced the beauty of snow falling outside a well lit window with glimmering lights reflecting off the snowy terrain. Christmas decorations always seem more becoming when set upon a snowy white setting. While snow is not essential to have a merry Christmas, fine food is a must! A few of my favorite Christmas treats are hot chocolate, peanut brittle and caramels, cookies, dipped pretzels, caramel corn, candy canes, cheese and sausage, hot coffee, and baked goods. The best thing about all of these goodies is that even if I don’t have the time to make them myself, there are loads of good Colorado businesses which make all these Christmas treats not far from where I live. When I need a pick me up to get me in the Christmas spirit or a quick gift to bring with me to a Christmas party, send to my friends and family across the country, or need a merry table topper for my Christmas table, I sign on to www.basketsbyrita.com and purchase their Colorado Christmas Basket. It contains all my favorite Colorado Christmas goodies, bringing Christmas wishes to my friends and family without the hours of struggling in the kitchen to create all your favorite holiday treats. Our Colorado Christmas gift basket is an annual tradition for over 18 years. A fabulous blend of savory and sweet Colorado favorites are brought together in this holiday green willow basket topped off with a festive red and white candy striped bow: This gift selection is also available in an eco-friendly gift bag. At home spa treatment AAH!

A long week of work and courses makes me ready to sit back and take it easy as soon as the weekend arrives. But we all know that the probability of me getting a weekend full of spa like services and peace and quiet is not really probable. Though I’m not working I usually wind up with a number of errands that’s stacked up throughout the week, a house to clean, and a heap of other miscellaneous projects that creep themselves into my life somehow. While I might be able to talk someone into giving me a five minute back rub, I don’t think I’ll have time for a facial and a massage. In this world where we live such fast paced lives, it is almost impossible to sneak away for an hour or two let alone a whole day to just put aside our crazy lives and spend some ‘me’ time. While I can perhaps add in a trip to the tanning salon or a waxing appointment once a month, it’s by no means enough to help me feel like I’ve truly treated myself. When a holiday or a birthday comes around and someone asks me what I want, the first thing that comes to mind is “gift cards” or “a new can opener.” Although these may be wise presents, they are necessities and buying these essentials doesn’t require much sympathy. candle and bath basketA present should be a thing you want, not a thing you need. Sometimes we forget our own merit and we need a friend to come in and remind us to take some time for our self. A gift should persuade you to take care of yourself, not help you run yourself further into the ground. Although I can say I wouldn’t have much spare time to arrange a spa appointment even if I received a gift card, I know a few home remedies that will do the trick almost as well. When I find a friend has been working too much and needs a some love, I order them a spa basket from Baskets By Rita to tell them to take a bit of time for their self. Baskets By Rita loads their baskets full of high quality spa products for an all inclusive, at home full spa treatment. The Candle and Bath Gift Basket is a great example of the varieties of products Baskets By Rita includes. This gift basket has a high quality Soy candle and Spa quality bath products that will impress and delight that special someone. Beautifully wrapped and tied with a bow and butterfly.. Give the Gift of Fine Wine and Cheese Gift Baskets

wine and cheese gift basket
Throughout human history, wine has been a celebratory drink savored in both social and religious events and rituals. For centuries wine has been savored for luxury, festivity, and religious functions. Wine was historically thought to have healing benefits and red wine is confirmed to be good for heart health. Though not all civilizations drank wine for recreation, almost every world culture has a wine history whether used as libation or medicine. In my life, wine is appropriate for festivity, leisure, and occasionally, as medicine. This fact alone makes wine the right gift for any occasion. Whenever I need a gift when visiting a friend’s home, as a housewarming present, or in order to say “thank you,” wine is my first choice. Wine is not only a fashionable gift, but it’s easy to pair with appetizers, meals, and desserts. Enjoyed in high class society, wine pairings and tastings are a great way to network and spend time with friends. What a great occasion to socialize and learn a thing or two as well!

Recently, I found myself in charge of organizing a relatively large social event. In all the turmoil of making arrangements, I forgot to notify one of the event sponsors of a change in date. The day before the occasion, we became aware of the error when I got a phone call from the sponsor. Because of the miscommunication, they were unable to be involved in the event and had blocked time out of their schedule in vain. My initial response in apology was to send the sponsor a wine and cheese basket from Baskets By Rita. For $150 I was able to send them a basket loaded with a variety of red and white wines, cookies, an assortment of cheeses, smoked salmon, gourmet crackers, summer sausage, olives, dried fruits, caramel corn, candy, snack mix, fine chocolates, mixed nuts, and more. I felt that this would be a gift that could be shared among all of their employees and I hoped it would convey my apologies for the misunderstanding. I would suggest a Baskets By Rita wine basket for any occasion for which wine is suitable. Whether you need to say thank you, send a housewarming gift, apologize, or present a gift when visiting a friend, Baskets By Rita has the perfect wine basket which include Wine and Cheese Gift Basket for the occasion.  Our wine and cheese gift basket is  the prefect choice for that special someone. Our split willow and rope basket is filled with Rodney Strong Merlot wine, assorted cheeses, crackers, sausage, chocolate bar, mixed nuts and snack mix. Our wine and cheese gift basket is a prefect hotel welcome gift, thank you, anniversary or even a birthday.  Want a different bottle of wine just call us.  Visit their cheese basket page to see their many designs and choices.

Fall Autumn Gift Baskets Deliver Love

As we find ourselves half way through the summer months, we start to look forward to the fall. With the transforming of the leaves, the cooling of the air, and the shortening of the days, we are reminded of the  approach of winter and the end of a new year. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Fall itself has many of its own assets. For thousands of years, autumn has been the time of year to celebrate the harvest and the gift of food. Symbols such as pumpkins, gourds, and brightly colored leaves are traditional in the United States as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day and Halloween. As the days get shorter and cooler, we draw our attention from the bleakness of the season and occupy ourselves with celebrations of friends, family and food, reflecting on the things we’re thankful for. Wouldn’t it be nice to show up to Thanksgiving Dinner this year with a little something more than the typical salad or loaf of bread to share? Or how would you like to surprise your distant relatives with a seasonal fall gifts that says “I’m thinking of you and I’m thankful to have you in my life.”

Golfers and Fishermen Love Summer Gourmet Gifts

The summer months allows for lots of time outdoor playing! When I think of summertime I remember growing up in rural America and spending more time outdoors than I ever spent inside. This is great for kids lots of fresh air, energetic activities and social time with siblings and neighbor kids. I learned that I could practically keep up with the boys and I love doing outdoor physical things. I probably I should have spent a bit more time reading books.

With that said I think of the food that we loved in this summer thinks like iced tea, watermelon, salt water taffy, fresh vegetables from the garden. Oh how sweet it was!
summer celebration gift baskets
Did you know that 40% of gifts are a disappointment to the recipient hence 40% of the gifts we give are unwelcome and the everyday person gives 29 gifts per year of an average gift costs US $52. Wow that is huge I highly recommend food gifts next time. Consider a Summer Celebration Gift Basket. We have designed a taste of Summer in a basket. This “sunny” stained willow basket is filled with taffy, crackers, cheddar cheese spread, beef summer sausage, almonds, Key Lime and white chocolate chip cookies, three cheese snack mix, popcorn, tortilla chips, salsa, Sunkist fruit gems, candy, a brownie and more. This makes a perfect Happy Birthday gift basket, Get Well basket, Congratulations gift, Welcome basket or Thinking of You gift basket.  .

The gift of choice a great way to go green by sending a gift that will be used and savored.
