Because of this, Mother’s Day is celebrated in February in Norway and on December 22nd in Indonesia, with a great many other dates in between celebrated by other people. Today's Easter The Meaning
Easter celebrates Jesus Christ’s resurrection, making it the most essential of all Christian holy days. However, in the present day the meaning of the holiday is covered by painted eggs and rabbits. Easter can fall at any time between March 22 and April 25 since is occurs the first Sunday following the full moon. Easter is also connected to the Jewish Passover in symbolism and it’s location in the calendar. What’s with Rabbits and eggs and The Easter holiday? Well the rabbit is a well know sexual icon of fertility. Religions affiliated with Babel relate the rabbit with periodicity, both human and lunar. The Mother Goddess Semiramis (Easter) is related with the moon. Therefore, the Easter rabbit symbolizes the Mother Goddess and is associated with once a year Spring time fertility rituals worshiping the Mother Goddess. Dyed Easter eggs are a part of the celebrations too that came from the egg which was a sanctified symbol among the Babylonians. They assumed that a fantastic size egg fell from heaven into the Euphrates River from which the Goddess Semiramis was born. It is something to think about how many of us genuinely think about the correct meaning of this holiday apart from the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

College Care Packages Ahh
College Care Packages with Love When I was a teenager my parents would send me off to camp for the summer. The one thing I looked forward to more than letters from friends was a care package from my parents. Some girls got a care package each week packed with junk food, random crap that would make us laugh, and pictures. Even though I did not receive a package each week like some of the luckier campers, I treasured the packages I got more because they were more unexpected and much better created. I would always share my baskets with my friends and for years after, my camp friends would ask me where my mom had found specific delicacies that they had only ever found in the contents of my camp care packages. Two months ago I moved out east for school after twenty one years of living in the same state as my parents. Although real homesickness hasn’t set in yet, it has been hard being apart from my friends and family and there are days which are harder than others. A few weeks ago I got a surprise package. At home spa treatment AAH!
A long week of work and courses makes me ready to sit back and take it easy as soon as the weekend arrives. But we all know that the probability of me getting a weekend full of spa like services and peace and quiet is not really probable. Though I’m not working I usually wind up with a number of errands that’s stacked up throughout the week, a house to clean, and a heap of other miscellaneous projects that creep themselves into my life somehow. While I might be able to talk someone into giving me a five minute back rub, I don’t think I’ll have time for a facial and a massage. In this world where we live such fast paced lives, it is almost impossible to sneak away for an hour or two let alone a whole day to just put aside our crazy lives and spend some ‘me’ time. While I can perhaps add in a trip to the tanning salon or a waxing appointment once a month, it’s by no means enough to help me feel like I’ve truly treated myself. When a holiday or a birthday comes around and someone asks me what I want, the first thing that comes to mind is “gift cards” or “a new can opener.” Although these may be wise presents, they are necessities and buying these essentials doesn’t require much sympathy.
